Mechanical Assembler

Job Purpose

Assemble Electro-Mechanical Assemblies according to specifications, prioritizing quality. Flexibility and willingness to perform duties outside normal scope are required to meet company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and engineering drawings to assemble products accurately.
• Assemble components by mechanical fastening of parts and subassemblies.
• Use hand tools and power tools for assembly.
• Handle various material sizes, from heavy parts to small intricate components.
• Identify and report product defects.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Handle ESD-sensitive materials and equipment safely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, and pneumatic tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Basic computer skills including email and work instructions.
• Attention to detail.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
