Job summary

FastTrack Staffing seeks a Mechanical Assembly Technician in the Jacksonville, FL area to join a manufacturing environment with growth opportunities. You will work with tools, troubleshoot issues, and handle mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.

The role requires dependability, safety-mindedness, and quick learning. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with training 5pm–3am for 1–3 weeks; pay is $20/hr. Benefits include Health, Dental & Vision Insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ experience in related industry or field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring tools.
• Experience troubleshooting/repairing equipment or machinery.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
• Must be able to multi‑task and prioritize in a time‑sensitive manner with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to do some heavy lifting (50#), bending, and standing for long periods in a warehouse work setting.
• Team player mindset required.
• Must be able to work in a hot (non‑climate controlled) work environment and wear steel toe boots.

Job description

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician for a manufacturing company in the Jacksonville, FL area that offers room for growth. This role is best suited for someone who is confident working with tools and equipment, troubleshooting issues, and handling mechanical tasks with minimal supervision. Must be dependable, safety‑minded, and able to learn quickly.

Schedule

Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm (Training is 5pm to 3am Monday to Friday for 1 to 3 weeks)

Pay

$20/hr
