Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a large furniture manufacturing company in Advance, NC. This Mechanical Assembler will work on the first shift from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, onsite in the area. Responsibilities include fabricating parts (cutting, drilling, milling, and assembling) from 2D or 3D drawings using manual drilling and milling machines, as well as hand tools. The role also involves cutting materials to shape and size, drilling holes, milling, and assembling machines. Candidates should be confident using power tools, as they will be used alongside hand tools to build machines, in collaboration with technicians and the automation team on the shop floor.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• At least 2 years of experience working on the floor with machines
• Experience with power and hand tools
• Experience building automation machines (CNC machines, 3D printers, FANUC & Yaskawa robots, Haas mill and lathe)
• Ability to communicate effectively with the automation team, PLC programmers, and technicians

This is a fully onsite, full-time role on the first shift (6AM-4:30PM) in Advance, North Carolina. The annual salary ranges from $50,000 to $52,000, depending on skills, experience, and education. Benefits may include healthcare insurance and paid leave as provided by law.
