Job summary

Super Vacuum Manufacturing Company in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for our Fans Division. You will assemble gas, electric, and pneumatic fans according to schematics, read blueprints, and work with hand and power tools.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical aptitude, strong communication, and a commitment to quality; must be able to lift 70+ pounds and obtain forklift certification if needed. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge.
• Clear communication skills.
• Strong attention to quality and cleanliness.
• Forklift certification obtainable.
• Stand/walk for long periods; bend and twist.
• Lift 70+ pounds.
• Pre-employment drug screen, agility test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble gas, electric, and pneumatic powered fans per schematics.
• Oil fan engines and maintain lubrication.
• Assemble electrical components and basic wiring.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Operate hand tools and power tools.
• Assist with other production tasks as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Assembly of gas, electric, and pneumatic powered fans according to schematics.
• Oiling of fan engines.
• Assembly of electrical components and basic wiring.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Operation of hand tools and power tools.
• Assist with other production tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Attention to quality and cleanliness
• Able to obtain forklift certification
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and twist
• Must be able to lift 70+ pounds
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test and criminal background check

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00/hour DOE

Hours: 7:00AM - 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday

Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
