PacSci Energetic Materials Company (PacSci EMC), a Ralliant Corporation entity, seeks a Mechanical Assembler to drive precision in explosive handling environments in Chandler, AZ. The role involves weighing and forming inert and energetic materials, assembling subassemblies, and operating specialized equipment under supervision.

OJT will be provided; candidates must meet safety standards for explosive handling areas and may attend offsite training such as JSTD to maintain certifications.

Qualifications

• No Education required for this position but needed to advance for other positions.
• Minimum one-two years of industry assembly work required
• Soldering/welding experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Weigh and press inert & energetic materials.
• Set up and use analytical balance.
• Perform inert assembly operations.
• Minor cabling, potting, tinning and assembly work.
• Set up and use powder press for pressing operation.
• Some minor set-up capability for specific equipment.
• May have some basic soldering experience.
• Performs various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies.
• Uses visual aids, drawings and verbal and written instruction to assemble, modify, re-work or re-assemble units.
• Install sub-assemblies.
• Must display proficient dexterity to insure safe handling of explosive devices.
• All work is performed in explosive handling areas.
• If required, attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements. (i.e., JSTD).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Mechanical Assembler you can expect to be our go-to for driving continuous improvement in the operations and assembly process. Will provide on the job training (OJT). All work is performed in explosive handling areas.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 14.57-27.07
