We currently have an immediate opening for a Mechanical Assembler located in City of Industry, California. This position is temporary with the opportunity for permanent employment.

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling the mechanical components of Astrophysics X-ray security machines. This role involves using handheld tools to fasten and connect parts, including large panels, while maintaining quality and safety standards. Assemblers work in a team, each completing specific tasks to build units that are utilized globally.

Essential Functions:

• Assemble mechanical components of X-ray machines following manufacturing plans, drawings, and instructions.
• Use handheld tools to fasten, screw, and drill parts accurately.
• Connect large panels and other components securely to machines as required.
• Complete assembly tasks efficiently to meet production goals.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in mechanical assembly preferred.

Shift and Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts as needed to support business operations.
