Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Mechanical Apprentice with HVAC experience to support our growing mechanical scope. The role will work under the Mechanical Foreman to install equipment and ensure high quality HVAC service for our customers.

Responsibilities include installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related equipment; brazing refrigerant lines; installing duct systems in light commercial and multifamily buildings; inspecting systems for hazards and coordinating

Qualifications

• Three years of experience installing HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of the IMC and SMACNA guidelines and local codes.
• Demonstrates and upholds Power Design’s core values: integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, growth.

• Advise Superintendents and Foremen of any potential hazards to maintain jobsite safety and security

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of three years of experience installing HVAC systems
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred
• High school diploma or GED/equivalent; EPA certification is a plus
• Knowledge of the IMC and SMACNA guidelines, local codes, and construction safety requirements
