About the Position

In this role, you would work under the direct supervision of a Mechanical Foreman and take responsibility for the installation of assigned tasks and/or scope of work.   • HVAC Installers are responsible for installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and/or refrigeration, and other equipment following manufacturer specifications and company requirements.
  • Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering and knowledge of press systems.
  • Perform installation of flex, ductboard, and/or sheet metal duct systems in light commercial and multifamily buildings.
  • Inspect HVAC systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  • Support superintendent and foreman to ensure jobsite safety and security.
Here’s What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of three years as an installer.
  • Possession of High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; EPA certification a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of the IMC, SMACNA guidelines, local codes, and construction safety requirements.
