Description

The Williams/Circle Pines KOA is an outdoor campground destination looking for enthusiastic people to join our outdoor guest service & maintenance team. Located in beautiful Northern Arizona about an hour from the Grand Canyon, we are a year-round park offering camping in RVs, Cabins, Deluxe Cabins, tents & Teepees. Our goal is to create a great camping experience for our guests by offering excellent customer service.

WORKING HOURS & RATES

• The working hours for this position can be Monday through Sunday 7am-10pm with high activity on weekends and holidays
• $15/hour and up depending on your experience
• Successful applicants can expect between 15-40 hours per week depending on the occupancy of the park
• This position is seasonal May 1 - October 31st. Ideally candidates are available for the entire season, but if not, applicants available for at least 3 months will be considered
• Accommodation options available at a nominal fee for employees who meet minimum weekly work hours. More information on accommodation to be discussed during the interview process for interested applicants.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive a high level of service consistent with our customer service philosophy
• Help to ensure the safety of guests and campground property with attentive observation and action
• Coordinate with office staff for problem resolution when available
• Help enforce campground policies and implement solutions consistent with goals of park
• Proactively perform daily repair and maintenance of Go Karts, golf carts, tractors & other small engines and equipment at the campground
• Solve problems effectively and efficiently
• Complete projects and repairs in a timely manner
• Train riders on proper safety and use of Go Karts
• Follow proper opening and closing procedures for track
• Assist with track maintenance
• Perform light landscaping and janitorial duties in track area
• Complete various duties as assigned by the manager, which can include light janitorial duties, assisting other departments, and supporting daily campground operations.

Requirements

• Intermediate knowledge and skill with a variety of tools and equipment
• Ability and knowledge to perform small repairs and maintenance on Go Karts
• Knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, irrigation, and landscaping is appreciated
• Ability to work with others and independently
• Ability to operate light vehicles safely on property
• Professional appearance and attitude towards guests and team members
• Effective and patient communication skills
• Ability to stand during shifts and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb, and dig as needed
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work at high altitude – 7000 ft
