Pacific Ag Rentals is seeking a Shop Mechanic Tier 4 in Pasco, WA to repair and maintain rental equipment, including tractors, water pumps, generators, and light towers. You will inspect, order parts, and perform repairs with a focus on accurate invoicing and customer service.

The role requires independent judgment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to mentor junior mechanics. Expect a full-time daytime schedule and opportunities to work in a diverse field service environment.

Responsabilidades

• Physically inspects and fills out equipment inspection forms for equipment returned from rent.
• Identify repair parts list and repair rental equipment quickly (tractors, water pumps, generators, light towers).
• Assist in shop, warehouse and vehicle maintenance; make deliveries and field service at customer locations.
• Ensure labor and replacement costs are captured for proper invoicing via the work order system.
• Mentor and train Mechanics Tier 1, 2 and 3.
• Maintain safety and organization; follow company procedures and quality standards.

Mechanic Tier 4# Mechanic Tier 4Pasco, WA 99301## OverviewSalary Range$34.00 - $38.00 HourlyPosition TypeFull TimeJob ShiftDayEducation LevelNoneTravel PercentageUp to 25%## Mechanic Tier 4**SUMMARY:** The Shop Mechanic Tier 4 will use independent judgment and mechanical aptitude to work in the shop, repairing rental equipment and maintaining rental equipment at the assigned Pacific Ag Rentals branch.The Shop Mechanic Tier 4 will ensure excellent service to both external and internal customers (i.e., -Service Manager, Shop Supervisor, Invoicing Supervisor, etc.) through the timely and accurate repair of equipment, including communicating missing, broken or damaged parts on outgoing or incoming equipment.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**include the following. Other duties may be assigned.**Operations:*** Physically inspects and fills out equipment inspection forms for equipment returned from rent* Expertly identifies, makes the required repair parts list, and quickly repairs various rental equipment, including, but not limited to, tractors, agricultural water pumps, large electrical generators, light towers, etc.* Assist in the maintenance of the shop, warehouse, and vehicles, make deliveries and pick-ups, and work in the field service area, maintaining equipment at customer locations.* Ensures that in-house labor and replacement costs are captured and entered via the work order system so that proper invoicing can occur.* Proactively identifies missing, broken, or damaged equipment to help reduce business costs, and escalates findings to the Service Manager with recommendations for resolution.* Ability to mentor and train Mechanics Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3.* Repairs are at book time**Customer Service:*** Timely monitors equipment repair in the shop* Communicate with supervisors and other mechanics about shop questions or needs in either written or verbal. form in a clear, professional, and efficient manner.**General Requirements:*** Comfortable and willing to move/use equipment such as, but not limited to, forklifts, large tractors, water trucks, RTVs, etc.* Ability to change tires and perform oil changes on equipment.* Ability to do advanced electrical diagnostics and hydraulics problems for repair.* Repair body panels, hoods, and lights.* Change seals, rings, belts, blades, and oil.* Be able to fuel equipment.* Ability to rebuild an advance drivetrain.* Be able to perform basic Wash Rack duties such as washing equipment and cleaning chemicals to remove all traces of dirt on rental equipment.
