Job Title: Mechanic Technician/Vehicle Upfitter

Location: Lynchburg, VA

We are seeking a motivated and versatile individual to join our team as a Mechanic Technician/Vehicle Upfitter at our fleet management shop. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and eager to learn. Experience with upfitting, fabrication, decal or vinyl work, rollback or wrecker operation is a plus, but not required. A Virginia state inspection license is also a plus but not mandatory. The ability to assist with snow removal during inclement weather is required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform mechanical tasks and repairs, often requiring fine motor skills.
2. Assist with upfitting and fabrication projects.
3. Apply decals and vinyl graphics.
4. Conduct snow removal during winter weather, including manual shoveling.
5. Operate a rollback or wrecker (training provided if willing to learn).
6. Some overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn.
• Upfitting or fabrication skills (preferred).
• Experience with decal or vinyl work (preferred).
• Rollback or wrecker experience (preferred).
• Virginia state inspection license (preferred).
