Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our field service team in Carmel, Indiana. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and generators to minimize downtime.

We value practical experience with diesel equipment, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Sunbelt offers extensive training and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment
• Work with a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and generators
• Operate in a safety-focused environment
