Sunbelt Rentals, the leading national equipment rental company, seeks a Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC systems and power generators.

The role involves preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to minimize downtime, with growth opportunities in service or operations management. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills, knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment including Aerial Work Platforms, pumps, HVAC and generators.
• Operate safely to minimize downtime and maintain fleet reliability.
