Keolis Commuter Services seeks a Mechanic - Tech C to join our maintenance team in Woodbridge, VA. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing heavy transit equipment, performing oil and lubrication services, and conducting preventive maintenance with precise documentation.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with 2 years of technical training or equivalent experience. CDL with air brake endorsement preferred; ASE Transit certs encouraged.

Knowledge and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Two (2) years technical degree or equivalent experience preferred

• Must be able to work amid constant interruptions, have ability to prioritize and be detail oriented
• Must have leadership skills and ability to mentor and provide instruction

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of all systems onboard the fleet transportation vehicles
• Perform Oil and Lube Services
• Performing Preventative Maintenance inspection and proper documentation.
• Performs both in-house and road call coach repairs using various hand, power, pneumatic and precision tools
• Performs upgrades and/or modifications on coach systems and equipment per manufactures recommendations or client requests
• Utilizes computer diagnostic equipment to include but not limited to; Cummins Insite, Allison prognostics, complex electrical schematics; ladder logic diagrams, VANSCO and DINEX coach control systems to diagnose troubleshoot coach electrical functions
• Test coaches for proper working order including road-driving tests
• Fills out work orders specifying parts and labor
