Summary: Under the direction of the Lead Mechanic, keeps premises of the facility and assets in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

Competencies and skills: Essential:

Must be able to organize thoughts in a clear manner, effective oral and written communication skills; must possess public speaking skills; must be an active listener and possess conflict resolution/problem solving skills.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Follows highest standards of cleanliness. Follows all federal, state and corporate policies, health codes and guidelines.

Wash and Maintain heavy use vehicles

Learn and Understand grease points on all assets

Understanding of OSHA regulations and requirements in a high risk environment

Truck tire repair and mount and dismount tires

Perform minor repairs of trucks including change wheel seals, brake jobs, lights, oil and filter changes

There is heavy lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments

Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner. Wears PPE/safety equipment as required for the job.

Reports any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisor.

Valid Drivers License with the ability to make pickups and deliveries for site staff

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
