Overview

Primary Function: Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on company vehicles, equipment, pumps, and tools.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Perform minor repairs on all company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Diagnose vehicles and equipment that are malfunctioning and identify the necessary parts required for repair. Coordinate with the shop staff for ordering parts.
  • CDL licenses with Hazmat endorsement is a plus.
  • Perform 500, 1,000, and 2,000 hour services on equipment per manufacturers recommendation and best practices.
  • Complete daily maintenance and repair logs and all service records.
  • Keep mechanics work trucks stocked with commonly used items and keep trucks clean, neat, and orderly.
  • Able to operate heavy machinery.
  • Communicate with equipment operators and gather any information that will assist in the repair and servicing of the vehicle or equipment.
  • Maintain and secure work tools.
  • Clean and maintain work area and clean equipment after service removing grease, fluid spills, and smudges.
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use and install tags.
  • Work in accordance with the Company Safety Program and bring to the attention of the foreman any safety violations or concerns.
