Job summary

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to perform scheduled PM on our fleet and ensure vehicles remain safe and compliant. The role supports shop operations and requires meticulous maintenance logs and strong problem-solving skills.

Shifts run Monday through Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm, in Tonawanda, NY. CDL is preferred but not required; federal drug-free workplace policy is observed. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k) + match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or community college courses in automotive technology preferred.
• 2+ years' experience performing preventative maintenance on commercial trucks or heavy-duty vehicles.
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and truck components.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Maintain a drug-free lifestyle (Buffalo Biodiesel complies with the Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act).
