The Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician maintains equipment according to the Preventative Maintenance program, diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electrical problems and performs emergency reactive and proactive repairs of building and grounds, production equipment and machinery while minimizing downtime.

Key Job Elements:

1. Predictive, preventative, and reactive maintenance and repair on pumps, presses, valves, fans, safety machine guards, and electrical equipment;
2. Source replacement parts, material, tools, and spare parts as needed. Maintain spare parts inventory;
3. Monitor and maintain CNC and related machine shop equipment;
4. Troubleshoot and maintain engines, conveyors, overhead cranes, electrical systems, CNC machinery, pneumatic tools, and hydraulics.

Education / Training:

• 2-year technical degree is desired.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. 5-10 years of prior experience necessary in a similar position;
2. Electrical experience to 480-volt 3-phase;
3. Strong mechanical ability;
4. Experience with PLC's desired;
5. HVAC experience a plus;
6. Machining experience helpful.
