You will troubleshoot, service, and repair equipment while maintaining meticulous records and ensuring safe, compliant operations across multiple job sites. The role requires hands-on experience with engines, pumps, valves, and electrical equipment, plus ability to read technical documents and perform precise

  • Familiarity with company and governmental safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical work on fixed and rotating equipment at various site locations.
  • Service, troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair equipment and conduct performance analyses.
  • Order and secure parts and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain and interpret reports and records including logs, inspection and maintenance reports, pressure readings.
  • Drive and ensure maintenance is completed on company vehicles.
  • Possess ability to respond to emergencies and follow safety precautions.

Job Summary

Performs activities related to mechanical work on equipment at compressor, pipeline, storage, gathering, fractionation and/or gas processing facilities.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical work on fixed and rotating equipment at various locations including, but not limited to:
    • Internal combustion, diesel, natural gas powered engines and electrical drivers
    • Compressors, pumps, generators, turbines, valves, electrical equipment, and well equipment
  • Service, troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair structural, mechanical, electrical and/or well equipment. Conduct performance analyses, including emissions testing
  • Order and/or secure parts and supplies
  • Maintain, prepare and/or interpret reports and/or records including, but not limited to:
    • Work logs and service orders
    • Inspection reports
    • Engine/equipment maintenance and repair records
    • Pressure readings
    • Material and supply orders
    • Engine and compressor oil analysis reports
  • Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles
  • Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.
