ONEOK, Inc. in the Aurora area is seeking a Technician to service valve sites, pump stations, and related equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, testing, maintaining, installing, and repairing assets within an assigned area.

The position is a Monday–Friday day shift with some overtime and on-call responsibilities; it is an intermediate level role that can be performed with minimal supervision. Travel within designated area may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for assigned location(s), including crude oil and refined products transport.
• Maintain SIP and OQ compliance; participate in required safety trainings.

• Complete and maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Manage location projects including overhauls, installs, and modifications.
• Perform other functions as requested by leadership.

JOB SUMMARY

ONEOK is looking for a technician in the Aurora area that will be responsible for multiple valve sites, pump stations and a variety of tasks involved in troubleshooting, testing, maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment within an assigned area.

Work schedule will be Monday - Friday day shift with some overtime and on-call responsibilities. This is considered an intermediate or journey-level position that the incumbent can perform independently or with minimal supervision.

Job Profile Summary

The Technician is responsible for providing operational, technical, electrical, and mechanical support for all facility assets. Incumbents are responsible for a variety of tasks involved in troubleshooting, testing, maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment within an assigned area.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for assigned location(s), which primarily involve the transportation of crude oil and/or refined products.

• Maintain a working knowledge of company policies/procedures as they relate to the operation/maintenance of the assigned assets, including System Integrity Plan (SIP) and OQ requirements and implement them into location work practices. Attend and actively participate in required safety training meetings.

• Perform routine testing, inspection, and maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all assigned mainline and facility equipment/systems, including but not limited to: pumps, electric motors, electrical equipment, electronic and/or pneumatic instrumentation, programmable logic controllers, measurement systems, product testing & analysis, piping systems, valves, centrifugal, positive displacement pumps, positive displacement meters, turbine meters, and similar other equipment and systems.

• Complete and maintain required documentation/records associated with performed maintenance and repair.

• Manage location projects, including major overhauls, troubleshooting for pumps and mechanical seals, new installations, or modifications of existing equipment, etc.

• Perform other functions as requested by leadership
