What You'll Do:
  1. Promote Safety: Prioritize safety per MSHA and Vulcan standards for yourself and others.
  2. Repair and Maintain Plant Equipment: Perform repairs, maintenance, and welding, including screen changes, conveyor belt repair, crusher liner changes, and water pump service.
  3. Inspect Equipment and Structures: Conduct daily inspections to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.
  4. Monitor Processes and Materials: Oversee plant activities to identify issues and ensure safety and material compliance.
  5. Document and Record Information: Maintain service and lubrication reports for preventative maintenance.
  6. Perform General Physical Activities: Assist with cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
  7. Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Skills You'll Need:

  • Experience: Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production principles is preferred.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work overtime, extended hours, outdoors in all weather, and tolerate loud noises.
  • Mechanical Skills: Knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
