Mechanic II / Waste Water Tech - 24/7 Nites

Join us for the Mechanic II / Waste Water Tech - 24/7 Nites role at U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC.

Position Overview

The Waste Water Technician / Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for waste water-related tasks, including system start-up to ensure the production of clean water, troubleshooting mechanical and chemical issues, and performing general maintenance duties. This includes installing, maintaining, and repairing production machinery and equipment across various departments.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
  • Must obtain a Waste Water License Grade 2 within 90 days
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Ability to learn and progress through mechanic levels
  • Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook
  • Experience with EAM system documentation
  • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding
  • Ability to machine parts using a lathe and mill
  • Experience with rigging and moving large equipment
  • Understanding of machine components (bearings, gears, pulleys)
  • Ability to read and interpret machine, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to operate industrial power equipment (forklift, scissor lift)
  • Customer service orientation and collaborative communication skills
