Job Overview:

The Mechanic will perform disassembly, reassembly, testing, and painting of equipment, utilizing manual, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing natural gas engine and compressor components, reading detailed prints, and adhering to safety regulations. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks following company policies
• Commit to Environmental, Health & Safety standards
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace
• Use mechanical skills and tools relevant to Oil & Gas
• Complete risk assessments and handle heavy materials safely
• Ensure equipment and tools are maintained and operational
• Identify and report hazards during work
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations
• Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting on tools and equipment
• Complete accurate documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly/disassembly or heavy equipment maintenance
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
• Possess or obtain forklift and crane operation licenses
• Wear PPE and follow safety protocols
• Valid driver’s license

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience in operations or service center roles
• Knowledge of natural gas engine and compressor equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills and teamwork
• Ability to read schematics and perform complex repairs
