A leading company in waste management is seeking a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic in Florida. This role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs on various heavy equipment. Ideal candidates should have at least one year of experience and a valid driver's license. The opportunity also includes a competitive pay structure starting at $28 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits.
$5,000 New Hire Sign on Bonus
Relocation: Assistance available
Tool Allowance: $300 per quarter
Boot Allowance: $300 per year
Shift: Mon-Fri (7:30am-4:30pm) and Saturdays on a rotating schedule (schedule subject to change based on site needs/must be flexible)
Pay: Starting at 28.00 per hour- BOE.
Required: 1 year of prior Heavy Equipment diesel maintenance experience on Yellow Iron (Dozer, Excavator, Front Loader). Valid Driver's License and must have a clean driving record.
Preferred: 3 years of experience with Computer Diagnostics on Yellow Iron (Dozers, Excavators, Front Loader), Class B CDL, ability to do PM's, Able to use SISWEB 2.0, Compass, Tablet, PROSIS, email. Order parts in Coupa. Remove major components for replacement or repair including undercarriage. .Have some ability to diagnose machine systems. A/C certified, torch and weld, able to work on other support equipment i.e.: Light towers, compressors, P/U trucks, etc
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR POSITION. THIS POSITION REQUIRES MECHANICAL SKILLS (REPAIRS AND MAINENTANCE FOR YELLOW IRON EQUIPMENT).

I. Job Summary
Performs complex preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshoots and repairs a wide variety of equipment (Trucks and Yellow Iron).
