Join to apply for the MECHANIC II (FULL TIME) role at Canteen North America

We are hiring immediately for full-time MECHANIC II positions.

Location: Canteen Melbourne - 6934 Vickie Circle, Melbourne, FL 32904. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time schedules, Tuesday through Saturday and some Mondays, as needed. Hours may vary; more details upon interview.

Requirements: Previous customer service and troubleshooting experience are preferred but not required.

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Operates and maintains equipment including HVAC systems, boilers, generators, and steam equipment. Reads meters and gauges to verify operating conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
  • Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company vehicle.
  • Contacts existing customers to ensure service quality and resolves complaints.
  • Inspects machines visually and audibly to identify malfunctions; dismantles machines as needed.
  • Replaces worn or defective parts, repairs, realigns, and tests machines post-repair.
  • Manages inventory, orders parts, ships and receives equipment.
  • Sets up and operates mechanical tools for repairs.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
  • Supports the department and exhibits professionalism.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Type I Refrigeration Certification & Valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license.
