Position Title: Packaging Mechanic Level II
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Primary Function:
Responsible, as per training administered, work related to: equipment repairs and changeovers, preventive maintenance activities, corrective troubleshooting on machinery, equipment inspection and installation, equipment system performance improvement. Performs all work in accordance to company policies, procedures and regulations contained in company GMP’S, safety standards, SOP’s and housekeeping standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to: Responsible for mechanical/ electrical equipment repair and troubleshooting, process improvements, equipment changeovers, minor fabrication of machine parts on packaging machinery, as per training administered.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Materials:
Machine parts and assemblies, pipe and fittings, lubricant, solutions, changeover parts as per training administered.
Tools and Equipment:
Various hand and power tools as per training administered.
Reports to: Mechanical Supervision, Production Supervision

Education:
All Candidates: HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
Experience or Equivalent:
