Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Perform HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting and repair in an industrial setting.
  • Operate forklifts and ensure safe material handling practices.
  • Maintain plumbing systems including installation and preventive maintenance.
  • Read blueprints, schematics and manuals for systems.
  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance checks and lubrication.
  • Apply basic electrical knowledge to support tasks.
  • Weld/fabricate for repairs and modifications as needed.
  • Uphold OSHA safety standards in a regulated environment.
  • Adapt to quality procedures in a nuclear/manufacturing context.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Work independently or in a fast-paced maintenance team.

What You’ll Do Day-To-Day
  • HVAC troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair experience in an industrial or commercial setting (chillers, air handlers, compressors, ventilation systems)
  • Fork truck (sit‑down, stand‑up, and/or reach truck) operation experience with demonstrated safe material handling practices
  • Working knowledge of plumbing systems including installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of piping, valves, fixtures, and drainage systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for mechanical and facility systems
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance experience, including lubrication, inspections, and equipment reliability checks
  • Basic electrical knowledge (motors, controls, sensors, and wiring) to support cross‑functional maintenance tasks
  • Welding and fabrication experience (MIG, TIG, or stick) for equipment repair and modification
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices in an industrial environment
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (nuclear, manufacturing, or energy) with strict procedural compliance
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast‑paced maintenance environment

Total Rewards Package
  • Salary: $24.70 - $32.30 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
