Salary Range:

$47,921.64 - $71,882.46

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Repairs, maintains, overhauls, and assembles various machines, equipment, and building systems, including HVAC units, fan coils, pumps, motors, compressors, plumbing, electrical, and other building mechanical systems.
  2. Performs repairs and minor construction using carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and painting skills.
  3. Assists with snow removal activities, including driving AMC vehicles to snowplow, distribute road salt, and shoveling sidewalks.
  4. Performs periodic preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on machinery and systems, maintaining records of tests, calibrations, and inspections.
  5. Fabricates brackets, guards, parts, etc., using welders, power, and shop tools.
  6. Repairs, cleans, lubricates, and maintains equipment such as surgical tables, nurse call systems, medical gas systems, sterilizers, motors, pumps, compressors, and controls.
  7. Performs repairs and minor construction to buildings and facilities, including painting, plastering, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
  8. Maintains safety by following proper procedures and using power tools, shop tools, hand tools, and testing equipment safely.
  9. Works with blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings.
  10. Maintains inventory of spare parts and hardware, including drawings, schematics, parts lists, and operating instructions.
  11. Performs scheduled preventative maintenance and keeps detailed records of all maintenance activities.
  12. Performs mandatory overtime, on-call coverage, call-backs, and snow removal duties as required.
  13. Assists in scheduling and completing projects according to plans and specifications.
  14. Inspects and tests fire alarm systems, performs maintenance, and resets alarms.
  15. Performs air handler filter changes and periodic minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks.
  16. Adheres to AMC policies, safety regulations, and promotes good housekeeping practices.
  17. Attends annual asbestos training and participates in the asbestos team as required.
  18. Performs other duties as assigned or reallocated by management.
