Job summary

Horton Emergency Vehicles in Ohio seeks a manufacturing associate to receive and inspect dealer-supplied chassis, assign keys and vehicles, and coordinate suspension programs with the team. The role emphasizes safety, tool use, and independent work.

You will collaborate with the Mounting Supervisor on chassis modifications, participate in welding certification tests as needed, and maintain cooperative working relationships while performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• One year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Valid Ohio driver's license.
• Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools.
• Must be familiar with the safe operation of various tools (drill, screw gun, sander, jig saw).
• Ability to analyze and evaluate a situation; communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the suspension programs to include Liquid Spring and Monroe Suspension programs.
• Coordinate all Chassis modification duties working closely with Mounting Supervisor.

Primary Functions

Receive and inspect dealer supplied chassis. Key and vehicle assignment duties, and coordination of all chassis control functions and Suspension (Monroe & Liquid Spring) Programs.

Duties And Responsibilities
