Job summary

A leading aerospace MRO provider is seeking a Mechanic I to repair and overhaul gas turbine accessories in Broomfield, CO. This role requires at least one year of experience with mechanical components and offers comprehensive healthcare, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off starting on day one. The ideal candidate should be able to lift up to 25lbs and stand for a significant portion of the work shift. Opportunities for advancement and training are also available.

Qualifications

As a Mechanic I, you’ll repair and overhaul gas turbine accessories.

What You’ll Do
  • Inspect engine accessories and accessory components.
  • Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality.
  • Complete relevant paperwork to ensure accuracy.
  • Observe all applicable safety practices and aviation regulations.
Basic Qualifications
  • One or more years of experience working with mechanical components.
  • One or more years of experience with routine induction/dismantle of mechanical components.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs without assistance.
  • Ability to stand for at least 50% of scheduled shift.
  • High school diploma or GED (General Educational Development).
Desired Skills
  • Experience with turbine engine accessories.
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine proper operating conditions.
