Hotshot Driver/Mechanic — Light-Duty Maintenance

• Schedule: Full-time; occasional overtime/on-call
• Travel: Local/regional between yard, job sites, and vendors
• CDL: Preferred (not required)

Keep operations moving by transporting equipment/supplies and performing light‑duty maintenance on trucks, trailers, and small equipment. This is not a heavy‑mechanic role — focus on routine PM, inspections, and minor repairs to ensure safety, compliance, and uptime.

What You’ll Do

• Driving/Logistics
  • Operate company pickup + trailer for hotshot runs; load, secure, unload, and stage safely.
  • Perform pre‑/post‑trip inspections; maintain logs and required paperwork.
  • Ensure vehicles/trailers meet DOT safety basics; represent the company professionally onsite/road.
• Light‑Duty Maintenance
  • Oil/filter changes; fluid checks/top‑offs; greasing/lubrication.
  • Basic brake inspections and replacements.
  • Replace lights, batteries, belts, hoses, filters, fittings.
  • Assist with trailer maintenance (lights, tires, air lines, minor brake work).
  • Identify issues; elevate major repairs to management or outside vendors.
  • Keep shop/yard organized; complete maintenance records/checklists.

Scope (not included): engine rebuilds; transmission/differential work; major diagnostics/electrical troubleshooting; hydraulic rebuilds; fabrication/welding.

What You Bring

• Basic mechanical aptitude; hands‑on experience with trucks/trailers/equipment.
• Safe use of hand tools and shop equipment; PM/inspection familiarity.

Qualifications
