Job Title: Mechanic Helper

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Assisting a mechanic during repair or alteration of articles.
  2. Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  3. Following safety rules and procedures.
  4. Keeping the work area clean and organized.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma; some college or technical school is desirable.

SKILLS:

Ability to read, write, and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written directions to staff.
