Company Overview:

Komatsu Company Stores East operates eleven Company-Owned Dealerships in the NJ, NY, PA, MD, and DE region. We are seeking highly skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Technicians for shop and field positions working on construction, mining, or other heavy equipment.

Successful candidates for a Mechanic Helper in our Shop should have basic knowledge of the heavy equipment repair industry, including but not limited to:

Performing rental check-ins & managing inventory of equipment

Loading, unloading, and staging of equipment in the yard

Cleaning and prepping equipment for delivery

Ability to complete rigging and cribbing tasks

Strong communication and team building skills

Ability to take direction and complete tasks

Shadow and support more senior technicians to enhance technical skill set

Computer competency including Microsoft products as well as industry software

Ability to read and write the English language

Operation of heavy equipment

Other duties as assigned

As a Mechanic Helper with Komatsu Company Stores East, the physically demanding work is performed in industrial environments and includes exposure to significant environmental conditions, including but not limited to:

Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing

Working at heights

Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, bending, and crouching

Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds

Hand/eye and motor coordination

Work overtime as needed

The workplace environmental conditions include subject to noise, heat, cold, odors, hazards, and atmospheric exposures
