The City of Gadsden seeks a skilled mechanic to service and maintain its heavy equipment, trucks, and vehicles, including on-road service calls and routine tune-ups. The successful candidate must hold a CDL and may be tested on general knowledge during the interview.

Purpose of Position:

The purpose of this position is to service and maintain the City's heavy equipment, trucks and vehicles. Duties include, but are not limited to: repairing and maintaining the City's fleet of vehicles, making on-road service call, providing basic tune-ups and performing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
