Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring all golf course equipment and golf shop golf carts are in good working order.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as nylon line trimmers, chain saws, walking/riding mowers, tee, rough, approach, collar, and backhoe tractors, rototillers, aerifiers, topdressers, etc.
• Assist the Equipment Manager in establishing preventive maintenance programs for all equipment, including golf shop golf carts.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of petroleum products, replacement parts, and shop supplies as directed by the Golf Course Maintenance Supervisor or Superintendent.
• Collaborate with the golf course maintenance team to communicate equipment repair needs effectively.

About You

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a golf course mechanic, particularly in small engine repairs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical mechanical training is preferred.
