We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintaining and repairing a wide range of trucks and heavy equipment used in the tree service industry, including pickups, dump trucks, brush chippers, loaders, and bucket trucks. Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems.

Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair.

Rebuild motors and replace components like tail lights and other vehicle systems.

Mount and balance tires for various vehicles and equipment.

Repair and maintain vehicle air conditioning systems.

Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity of equipment.

Perform welding repairs as needed (preferred but not required).

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a mechanic.

Strong expertise in diesel engine repair and hydraulic systems.

Knowledge of electrical systems, vehicle air conditioning repair, and motor rebuilding.

Proficiency in basic welding techniques (a plus but not mandatory).

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL license is a plus.
