Job summary

GS Millwork is seeking a skilled Mechanic/Electrician to join our on-site maintenance team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment across our facilities, ensuring safe, reliable operation and adherence to preventive maintenance programs.

You will read blueprints and schematics, document maintenance actions, and respond to breakdowns with speed and accuracy, working both independently and with operations colleagues to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical work, or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical equipment.
• Safe, effective use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
