OVERVIEW

Inspecting diesel engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose and troubleshoot issues accurately.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must have own tools.
• Applicant will be tested on entry-level mechanical techniques.
• Applicant must possess entry-level skills to troubleshoot, diagnose, research manuals, communicate mechanical information, and perform repairs/rebuilds on:
• Engines/Farm equipment
• Support equipment
• Air conditioning systems
• Basic hydraulics
• Electrical systems
• Applicant must display willingness to progress.
• Applicant must be physically fit to perform all aspects of the job and work in various positions.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

• None

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Some hands-on mechanic experience is preferable.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Applicant must have completed 1050 hours of a mechanic course at a community college with certification.
• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or other equivalency approved by Okeelanta Management.
• Ability to communicate in written and verbal English, follow instructions, maintain good attendance, and demonstrate good communication skills.
• Safety-mindedness and ability to work well with others.
