Job summary

Florida Crystals is seeking an entry-level mechanic to inspect diesel engines and related mechanical/electrical components, diagnose issues, and perform repairs at our South Bay, FL facility.

You will need to bring your own tools, demonstrate basic mechanical techniques, and show willingness to progress. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1050 hours of mechanic coursework with certification.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 1050 hours of a mechanic course at a Community College with Certification.
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED or other equivalency approved by Okeelanta Management.
• Some hands on Mechanic experience preferable.
• Must be able to communicate written and verbally in English, Follow instructions, Good Attendance, Good communication skills, Safety Minded, Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Inspect diesel engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems.
• Be prepared to test and demonstrate repairs; maintain tools and workspace.

Florida Crystals is a leading domestic sugar producer and North America's first fully integrated cane sugar company, guiding our sugar from farm to table. OVERVIEW

Inspecting of diesel engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose and troubleshoot issues accurately.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must have own tools
• Applicant will be tested on entry level mechanical techniques
• Applicant must possess entry level on troubleshoot diagnose, research manuals, communicate mechanical information and repair/rebuild
