Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking experienced Mechanics in the Batavia area for preventive maintenance, diagnosis, service and repair of various vehicle systems. You will work 40 hours per week with OT as needed, and enjoy full benefits, paid vacation, a company uniform, and career advancement opportunities within a national company.

Starting pay rate is $33.50/hour. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2-3 years of apprentice level training/experience in automotive or diesel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years of apprentice level training/experience in automotive or diesel mechanics.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing.
• CDL class B with Air Brake is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, examines, and investigates vehicles to determine causes of defective operation of vehicle systems and components.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance of vehicles.
• Execute major and minor repairs of defective components.
• Document all activities in MV’s Fleet Management System.
• Maintain work environment in an organized and safe condition.
