Nestlé USA is hiring for a Mechanic B on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM) to perform diverse repairs across production and facility equipment. You will troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems, support root-cause analysis, and train junior technicians in a safe, organized environment.

This role requires 5+ years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and CMMS proficiency; overtime and lift up to 50 lbs are expected.

  • Mechanical/electrical trade background or technical school preferred.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS strongly recommended.

  • Flexible to work overtime based on business needs.

This role operates on the 2nd shift, with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 3:00PM - 11:30PM.

ONBOARDING SCHEDULE:

To ensure a successful start and seamless integration into the team, this role includes a structured 4–5-day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All new employees are expected to complete this onboarding during their first week.

You’ll work across mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, using your experience to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement. You’ll also help train junior technicians and contribute to a safe, organized, and high-performing environment.

  • Comfortable using CMMS and basic software (Oilers, compressors, HVAC, etc.)
  • Use manuals, drawings, and technical resources to diagnose issues
  • Assist with emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance
  • Train and support lower-level technicians
  • Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
