Qualifications

• Performs mechanical repairs under supervision of a mechanic.
• Disassembles simple components and cleans parts for reassembly.
• Requests parts and tools as needed to support repairs.
• Checks and replaces fluids as required.
• Maintains updated preventive maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs or work under supervision of a mechanic to repair or replace tires, bulbs, and accessories.
• Disassemble simple components and clean parts for reassembly.
• Assist mechanics with lifting and maneuvering heavy parts and components.
• Request parts and tools for mechanics as needed.
• Check fluid levels and replace oil, water, battery, and other fluids as needed.
• Help in maintain accurate, updated records of preventive maintenance.
• Inspect, repair, change, and rotate tires.
• Clean shop floors, stalls, driveways, tools, and equipment.
