Job summary

Yellowstone Landscape is seeking a motivated Landscape Equipment and Fleet Mechanic Assistant in Houston, TX. You will repair and perform preventative maintenance on mower fleets, small engines, 2-cycle equipment, and utility vehicles, supported by in-house parts inventory.

You must have at least 2 years of repair experience, strong mechanical skills, and own tools, with legal work authorization in the United States. A valid MVR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum 2+ years repair experience with mowers, small engines, 2 cycle equipment and utility vehicles.
• Strong mechanical skills including basics of electrical systems, hydraulics, mower tech and gasoline/diesel engines.
• Basic automotive repair experience.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have reliable transportation to the branch or first job site.
• Safe driving record; MVR check a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and service a wide variety of landscape power equipment.

• Maintain shop with stocked spare parts and supplies.
• Operate safely and keep the shop clean and orderly.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Equipment and Fleet Mechanic Assistant. The Mechanic Assistant will repair and perform preventative maintenance on all company equipment.What would my responsibilities be?· Perform preventative maintenance and service a wide variety of landscape power equipment.
