Job summary

Milex Complete Auto Care in Maryland is hiring a Mechanic Assistant to support our senior mechanic with routine maintenance and general repairs. No extensive experience is required, and we are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and reliable.

This on-site position offers hands-on training, safety-focused teamwork, and the chance to work with a variety of vehicles. Compensation is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with opportunities to grow as skills expand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Auto repair program completed (preferred).
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Willing to learn and dependable.
• Punctual and able to complete tasks on time.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Our auto repair shop has an immediate opening for a Mechanic Assistant. Under the direction of our senior mechanic, you will assist with car maintenance jobs. You must be familiar with the general workings of a car engine. Our ideal candidate has some experience with fixing and maintaining vehicles, but we are willing to train the right person.

• Assist with basic maintenance tasks on customer vehicles
• Keeps work area clean and safe
• Moves cars in and out of the bay area
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Completion of an auto repair program (preferred, but not required)
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Willing to learn
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Valid Driver's license
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
