UPS is seeking a skilled technician to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of delivery vehicles, heavy-duty machinery, on-road tractors, and trailers. You will troubleshoot systems, including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electronics, and engines, and perform routine maintenance.

The role requires the ability to lift 70 lbs, flexible shifts up to five days a week, and readiness to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, occasionally outdoors, with access to essential hand tools and weekly

Job Summary

This position maintains a diverse range of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy duty machinery, on road tractors, and trailers from a variety of manufacturers. He/She troubleshoots and maintains/repairs various systems including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electronics, and engines. This position performs other tasks as requested.

Responsibilities

• Repairs all UPS diesel and electric vehicles.
• May Operate vehicles with standard (manual) transmission.
• Ensures all vehicles are maintained regularly and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.

• Possession of essential hand tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay for this position is $39.92 per hour. For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions. Hired applicants are eligible for weekly pay, extensive training, 401(K), defined-benefit pension plan, medical-dental and vision after waiting and or probation period, $0 healthcare premium, paid vacation, paid sick and family and medical leave time as required by law, paid holidays, discounted employee stock purchase program.
