You will maintain repair shop equipment, prepare cost estimates, and communicate clearly with managers and customers to ensure reliable performance and a welcoming experience for guests. • High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of airboat and outboard motors.
• Knowledge of tour buses.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair tour buses and boats.
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes.
• Create repair estimates and timelines and convey information to manager in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our Swamp Tour/Tourism Company. As Mechanic, you will take care of diagnosing and repairing issues with vehicles’, Airboats and tour boats performance and function.

As a Mechanic, you must have an in-depth understanding of all vehicle systems and components. You will also be responsible for maintaining repair shop equipment, preparing cost estimates, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
