Job summary

Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford, MA is hiring mechanics across Entry Level to Experienced roles to join our year-round maintenance team. You’ll work on ATVs, UTVs, tractors, trucks, aerial lifts, and snow equipment in a fun outdoor environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting snowmaking and mountain operations. Training on aerial lifts is provided, and a seasonal season pass is included.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems.
• Experience with small engines, automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles and lifts
• Operate heavy equipment as needed
• Support snowmaking and mountain operations during winter
• General maintenance tasks (light carpentry, basic repairs)
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized shop environment

Nashoba Valley Ski Area is hiring mechanics. We are hiring Entry Level, Mid‑Level, and Experienced Mechanics to join our year‑round maintenance team. If you enjoy working on a wide variety of equipment — from ATVs and golf carts to tractors, trucks, and aerial lifts — this is a unique opportunity to grow your skills in a fun, outdoor environment.

What You’ll Work On:

ATVs, UTVs, golf carts, tractors, and company vehicles

Aerial lifts and surface lifts (training provided)

Small engines, hydraulics, electrical systems

Heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and loaders

Seasonal equipment including snowmobiles and snow groomers

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems

Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles and lifts

Operate heavy equipment as needed

Support snowmaking and mountain operations during winter

General maintenance tasks as needed (light carpentry, basic repairs)

What We’re Looking For:

Mechanical aptitude — junior to experienced techs welcome

Experience with small engines, automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment
