Pauley Construction, LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an entry-level Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair fleet vehicles and heavy equipment across job sites and shop facilities. You’ll perform routine servicing, inspect components, and plan work procedures to keep equipment ready for use.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience, 3–5 years of relevant work, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience
• 3–5 years of management level experience
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Willingness to work in solo and team environments
• Experience working in all weather conditions; self-starter
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to travel and work extended hours; overtime and weekends as needed
• Ability to lift, climb, and carry ladders up to 80 lbs

Responsibilities

• Repair services for automobiles, trucks and other construction equipment.
• Perform minor repairs of equipment on jobsites.
• Determine nature and extent of damage or malfunction and order parts accordingly.
• Plan all work procedures.
• Raise vehicles with hydraulic jack or hoist to access mechanical units bolted underneath.
• Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear.
• Repair small engine equipment such as water pumps, generators and air‑compressors; rewiring trailers and lights.
• Reline and adjust brakes on trucks and trailers.
• Perform small welding jobs as needed.
• Replace and adjust headlights, install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipers.

What you’ll do

Pay Range:The Mechanic position pays an hourly wage of $25.00 - $35.00, depending upon experience.
