Job summary

Pauley Construction, LLC is seeking a Technician Quality Control Field to inspect active construction projects, document findings, and ensure work meets company standards. The role requires field reviews, some travel, and collaboration with site teams to support quality improvements.

Based in Phoenix, AZ, you will handle field corrections, communicate issues to leadership, and contribute to safe, efficient project completion while maintaining compliance with customer requirements and internal

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–3 years in Underground Utility Construction or related field.
  • Ability to review active construction projects and verify site cleanup and close-out documentation.
  • Capable of following specifications and customer requirements and reporting variances.

Responsibilities

  • Review active construction projects in the field and verify documentation.
  • Ensure work aligns with Pauley’s requirements and customer expectations.
  • Verify CORE documentation matches completed work and report issues to market leadership.
  • Make minor field corrections to installations as needed.
  • Handle small materials and transport to field crews.
  • Operate and report using standard computer applications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

At Pauley Construction, LLC, as a Quality Control Field Technician, you’ll ensure that construction or installation work meets specified standards by performing inspections, conducting tests, and monitoring compliance throughout projects. You’ll address issues, document findings, and collaborate with teams to implement improvements and maintain high-quality outcomes.

What you’ll do
  • You will work in the field reviewing active construction projects, walk and review completed construction projects ensuring for site clean up, close out documentation is fulfilled.
  • You will ensure active construction work is completed to Pauley's requirements and Customer satisfaction and requirements.
  • You will ensure internal CORE documentation matches the completed LCS and Customer requirements, verify and report to market leadership of issues or lack of documentation or compliance issues.
  • You will make minor field corrections to installation should issues be identified.
  • You will handle small materials, run small materials to field crews.
  • You will operate, work, and report via general computer applications. etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need
  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.
  • Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as neede.
  • May be required to work over-time; after hours; on weekends or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed.
  • May include working nights and holidays as needed.
  • You have have 1-3 year's minimum experience within the Underground Utility Construction Industry but will train right applicant
  • You are a problem solver

  • You have the willingness to work in a solo and team environment
  • You have experience in working through all types of weather, including inclement weather
  • You are a self starter
  • You have effective communication skills.

Pay Range: The hourly range for the Technician Quality Control Field position is $18.00 - $26.00, depending on experience.
