Job summary

Frontier Environmental Services in Jones Mills, PA is seeking Shop Mechanics for the day shift to maintain a fleet of heavy trucks, trailers, and construction equipment in a modern shop. A safety-driven environment and teamwork are emphasized, with opportunities to work with advanced diagnostic tools.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, a valid license, and own tools suitable for heavy work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (experience may substitute).
• 2+ years mechanic experience with heavy trucks or construction equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own tools suitable for heavy equipment work.
• Ability to pass DOT drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to perform heavy physical tasks (lifting 50+ lbs, climbing, kneeling, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fleet of heavy trucks, trailers and construction equipment in a modern shop.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment using diagnostic tools and software.
• Collaborate with team in a safety-driven work environment to ensure uptime.
